JPI Oceans - OECD Seminar | The Future of the Ocean Economy
The seminar taking place in Brussels on 4 October will bring together the JPI Oceans Management Board, Advisory Board, OECD representatives and key stakeholders to discuss the OECD Future of the Ocean Economy report. The objectives of the seminar are to:
- present the main results of the OECD Future of the Ocean Economy report.
- discuss the report’s recommendations with stakeholder representatives.
- address how European countries can take lessons learned forward.
- present the future of the OECD Ocean Economy Project.
In the panel sessions following the presentation of the report, participants will discuss the implications for cross sectoral industry cooperation, integrated ocean management and public research and innovation policy.
